Our classes
We have limited monthly sessions to explore different aspects of ceramics and sustainability. These courses will range from handbuilding, sculptural forms, creating slip-cast molds, fused glass, formulating glazes, incorporating waste materials, and nerokomi (coloured porcelain). Each course is highly explorative, incorporating aspects of sustainability and experimentation.
Paint-your-own ceramic
We offer weekly paint-your-own ceramics sessions all day on Sunday. Select the piece that you like and paint whatever you desire using underglazes, ceramic pencils, and ceramic crayons for 2 hours. We fire and provide pieces to you within 3-4 days that can be used for eating, drinking and placed in the microwave or dishwasher.
Upon request and availability, we are able to offer events such as birthday parties, hen-do’s, team buildings.
Studio access & membership
As a micro-studio, we offer limited monthly memberships for experienced individuals for hand building and throwing. It is possible to purchase day access to make from the raw clay into a final glazed object.
We also offer a monthly Clay Club on the second Tuesday night of each month (unless there is a holiday).
Creative design, production, and illustration services
Focused on pushing the utilisation of small spaces, we can help create custom home products. Chindogu Studio accepts commissions are possible, either as illustration, stoneware and porcelain objects, and
